First mosque built in Hulhumale’ Phase II officially opened

Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has inaugurated Masjid Ameel Jaleel, the first mosque built in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

Masjid Ameel Jaleel can accommodate 480 worshippers inside, although up to 650 worshippers can be accommodated within the premises of the mosque. The mosque is built to two stories, with the upper floor allocated as a multifunctional area inclusive of a library and classroom area. The mosque is located at the main road of Hulhumale’ Phase II, which connects to Phase I.

Masjid Ameel Jaleel was designed by Inside Plus Private Limited, and built by Zaan Construction Company Private Limited. The mosque was developed in an plot area of 16,400 square feet.
