President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated socioeconomic progress can be achieved by learning from the example set by the early Muslim community.
In his message commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih extended his warmest felicitations to the public, and to Muslim leaders and communities throughout the world, on this blessed occasion. He expressed the early Islamic community, led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), has set the example which should be used to drive the socio-economic progress of the modern Islamic world.
The president noted this occasion must be used to reflect on one of the greatest blessings bestowed upon the world by Almighty Allah, through his beloved messenger, Muhammad (PBUH): the revelation of the Islamic faith. He further expressed that this occasion is an opportune time to spread Islamic values and principles, such as strengthening bonds with kin, promoting justice and compassion, as well as helping and being kind to one another.
Concluding the message, the President encouraged all to nurture Islam in their hearts by practicing the values and principles taught by the holy Prophet.
