President appoints 4 new members to NIC

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed four members to the National Integrity Commission (NIC).

The members who were newly appointed to NIC are Gasim Abdul Kareem, Aminath Shadiya, Ashiyath Shiuna and Shuaib Abdul Rahman. President Solih presented the new members with their letters of appointment at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office on October 26.

The names of the four new members appointed to NIC had been approved by the Parliament of the Maldives among the list of applicants sent by the President’s Office. They have been appointed to fill the four membership positions vacated following the resignation of three members and the dismissal of one member.
