Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has commenced public bus services on Sina-Male' Bridge.
The bus services will be free for the next five days to travel from Male', through Hulhule' to Hulhumale', according to MPL. The bus terminal operated by MPL is located at Male' Industrial Village.
The bus schedule and fees will be announced after five days, CEO of MPL Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem stated speaking to the media. MPL further said smart card system service will also be introduced along with the bus services. Moreover, MPL stated bus services will be available during day and night on a daily basis, according to schedule.
MPL said 22 buses will be used for the operation, out of which 9 buses have already been brought to Maldives, adding 50-seat buses and 70-seat buses will be used for the bus services on Sina-Male' Bridge.
