Maldives Immigration has announced applications for passport services can now be submitted 24 hours as before.
Maldives Immigration stated that passport services can be accessed through its online portal, Imuga, throughout the day.
Maldives Immigration temporality limited the timings for passport applications a month ago in an effort to improve the quality of the online portal. Maldives Immigration said applications to create passports will be processed in the order in which the forms are received, adding payment for passports can also be made online.
Immigration said the change was made as part of efforts underway to provide safe and efficient immigration services to the public.
