Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Aishath Nahula has inaugurated the Honda Marine Engine Showroom in Male' City.
The showroom is being run under D Blue Marine Private Limited and the authorised Honda Marine dealer Marine Vibe. The showroom seeks to introduce and showcase the latest Honda outboard engines to the Maldives.
Stakeholders and important figures in the transport industry participated in the opening ceremony of the showroom.
At the ceremony, Managing Director Mohamed Haneef said Honda marine engines are highly popular in the Maldives. He said the current stock has been depleted now but customers can still pre-order the engines.
Marine Vibe stated the showroom was opened with a service centre which will be run by experienced engineers. It also stated the Honda marine engines require little maintenance and are highly resilient and reliable.
Marine Vibe also stated the newly introduced 250 horsepower engine can be pre-ordered with a six-month warranty.
