Minister at President’s Office Ahmed Naseem has received Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the tourism sector. The award was presented at the Maldives Travel Awards Gala Night.
The Gala night organised by Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) conferred several awards.
Addressing the award ceremony, President of MATATO Abdulla Suood stated while tourist arrivals increase year on year, MATATO aims to augment the tourism sector of the country.
Maldives Travel Awards intends to encourage and stimulate professionalism in the travel industry and the national and international tourism by creating an annual event, unique to the destination. The award night was attended by over 200 individuals.
