President of Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Hisaan Hussain has said court officers have a huge responsibility in creating public trust on the judiciary.
Speaking to honour the function held to conclude court officer training organised by Judicial Academy, Hisaan said the first people anyone meet at court are court officers and attitude and behaviour of court officers leave a lasting impact on perspective of people towards courts. Hence, she urged court officers to observe patience and respect at all times regardless of whether they are lawyers, suspects, defendants or people seeking information from courts.
The representative from the parliament to the JSC, Hisaan, further said while JSC intends to reform the judiciary by ensuring quality judges on the benches, and suitable discipline, JSC and the judiciary as a whole does not neglect the quality of other administrative staff. Highlighting the plan of JSC to run more professional development programs in the future, she said all staff working in the judiciary must be well trained in their service areas.
JSC said 21 court officers from across the country participated the training organised by Judicial Academy from December 3-4.
