The Maldives has been nominated in two categories for the United Kingdom’s Wanderlust Magazine’s Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards.
Wanderlust is a well-known travel publication among British travellers. Its annual Reader Travel Awards recognise excellence in global tourism. The Maldives has been nominated in two categories: ‘Most Desirable Country' and 'Most Desirable Island(s)'.
Voting is now open and will remain open until 27 October. Votes can be cast by completing a form through the Wanderlust Travel Awards portal. Voters must follow Wanderlust on Instagram or Facebook to be eligible.
More than 200,000 people are expected to vote for Wanderlust magazine's travel awards this year. The awards ceremony will take later this year to coincide with the World Travel Market Fair in the UK.
