Attorney General's Office (AG Office) has revealed it has provided legal advice to the government on 763 matters relating to the state by the end of last September.
AG Office published statistics of the legal advice state institutions sought in the past 10 months, since President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih assumed office last November. AG Office provided the administration of President Solih with legal advice on ratification of 25 bills, in addition to 252 legal advice it provided regarding agreements the state established with other parties. AG Office also provided legal advice on 97 regulations of the state. AG Office provided state offices 48 legal advice on government policies.
The administration also sought legal advice on 11 international conventions signed by the state. AG Office has been publishing statistics of all advice provided to the state.
AG Office has also been very transparent on legal advice it provides to state institutions on all public matters.
