First Lady tours Seychellois National History Museum, visits Perserverance Secondary School

First Lady Fazna Ahmed has toured Seychellois National History Museum, visited Perserverance Secondary School and met with a group of young women, who are to commence undergraduate studies.

As part of a separate programme on the side-lines of the ongoing state visit by President Solih to Seychelles, First Lady Fazna has been escorted to the Seychellois National History Museum for a guided tour, led by Seychellois Principal Secretary for Culture Cecile Kalebi.

Furthermore, the first lady was escorted to Perseverance Secondary School, where she was received by Minister for Education and Human Resource Development Jeanne Simeon and provided a tour of the school, during which she inspected the school’s facilities and learned about some of the education policies and priories implemented the Government of Seychelles.

The first lady was then escorted to Department of Foreign Affairs where she met with a group of young women who are looking forward to starting their undergraduate studies. First Lady Fazna and the prospective students conversed on some of the challenges women in particular face during their education journeys and the ways in which they can be overcome.
