Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure has contracted 2 companies to establish water facilities in 5 islands and sewerage facilities in 4 islands.
The agreements of the projects were signed at a ceremony held at planning ministry. In this regard, Azrova Maldives Private Limited joint venture with Water Engineering Solution Services Private Limited was contract to design and build basis for construction of water supply facilities in Nolhivaram in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. The project worth over USD 1.623 million was handed over to be completed within 2 years.
Moreover, Static Company Private Limited was contracted with the designing and building basis for construction of water supply and sewerage facilities in Uligamu in Haa Alifu Atoll, Kanduhulhudhoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, Kinbidhoo in Thaa Atoll and Kendhikulhudhoo in Noonu Atoll.
