Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has revealed that the ongoing road development projects will be completed by the end of September. The projects to develop the roads are conducted by Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) but with the dissolution of the corporation, the projects were handed over to Public Works Service of the ministry.
Under the roads enhancement project initiated by the government of Maldives, roads of various islands has been tarred and made into a better condition.
According to the ministry, the development of road networks is progressing according to schedule. In this regard, developing roads in 4 islands has been completed by the public works. Moreover, the minister stated that the ongoing projects will be completed by the end of September.
