Deputy Speaker of parliament Moosa Manik joins PPM

Deputy Speaker of parliament and parliamentarian of Hulhu-Henveiru constituency Moosa Manik has joined the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

The Deputy Speaker joined PPM in a special ceremony held in the party office on Tuesday night, which was attended by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

Addressing the media, Moosa Manik said that PPM is the only party that can lead the nation to a prosperous future and continue the development of Maldives. Moosa Manik further revealed that he has no plans of competing in the race for presidency next year.
