Maldives has launched teachingtube.com website, an online platform educational and teaching platform.
The website, operated by local company Islanders Education, was officially launched by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim. The teachingtube.com website will allow students to study from anywhere in the country through the online platform. This is the first such website launched by a local company in Maldives.
During the ceremony held to launch the website at National Art Gallery, Islanders Education donated the First Lady with a voucher to provide free courses through their website to 100 students for a period of one year. Teachingtube.com will allow courses from primary to advance level studies.
Speaking at the ceremony, Islanders Educations Executive Director Eedan Rasheed said that students can register for different courses via the website. Dhiraagu is partnering with Islanders Education in the project. Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed said that such an advanced teaching method would benefit the educational sector immensely. Teachingtube.com is a platform which is used in different parts of the world.
