Public Service Media – PSM on Wednesday signed an agreement with Capital Market Development Authority - CMDA to raise public awareness on finance and economy.
The agreement was signed by the PSM Deputy Managing Director Aminath Shaayan Shaahid and CMDA CEO Ahmed Naseer.
Under the three-year agreement, PSM will produce TV and radio programmes on finance and economy, and conduct orientation programmes for journalists.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, PSM Deputy Managing Director Aminath Shaayan Shaahid said the agreement will pave way for dissemination of finance and economy related information.
CMDA CEO Ahmed Naseer said the agreement was signed reached after extensive discussions between the two institutions.
Under the agreement, PSM will also broadcast programmes on Islamic finance and commerce, and flash messages on both TV and radio.
