Vice President meets and encourages Maldivian Olympic contingent

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has met with the Maldivian contingent participating in the "Paris 2024 Olympics" and encouraged them. The Vice President met with the Maldivian athletes participating in the Olympic games as part of his visit to Paris, France.

During the meeting, the Vice President noted that the government attaches great importance to the development of sports and encouraged the Maldivian athletes participating in the Olympics. This year, five Maldivians will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics, marking the country's highest level of participation.

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef departed to Paris on July 24, to attend the opening ceremony of the "Paris 2024 Olympics", on the invitation of the French Government and International Olympic Committee. In addition to this, he will also attend the respective competitions of the Maldivian athletes.
