Maldives commits to strengthen SAARC member state relationships

The Maldives has assured commitment to strengthening the existing relationships among the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) member states. The remark was made by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during a courtesy call paid by Secretary-General of SAARC Golam Sarwar.

During the meeting, President Muizzu welcomed Secretary-General Sarwar and expressed gratitude for accepting the invitation to the presidential inauguration ceremony. In response, Secretary-General Sarwar thanked the President for the invitation and congratulated him on his assumption of office. He also praised the President's inaugural address as powerful and inspiring, expressing confidence in the bright future of this administration.
