Following President-Elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's inauguration, the new Cabinet is set be sworn in and presented with letters of appointment in a ceremony scheduled for 1945hrs at the President's Office.
Following the Cabinet Ministers' appointment ceremony, the senior officials of the President's Office will receive their letter of appointment.
Speaking to PSM News, President-elect Dr. Muizzu said that he prioritised individuals who will be able to fulfil the pledges in his manifesto when picking his Cabinet ministers. He also said that they will respect the decisions made by the president and will not seek other opinions on the matter. He stated his Cabinet will consist of 22 ministers who can achieve results.
