Addi City Council has expressed its commitment to give its full cooperation to the new administration.
Mayor of Addu City Ali Nizar has congratulated President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for serving the country for the past five years. He said that one of the responsibilities of local councils is to cooperate with the government and assured that the Addu City Council will give its full support to the new administration.
The Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has the majority at the Addu City Council. In addition, other local councils have also vowed to give their full support during President-elect Muizzu's five-year term.
