The Ministry of Education has awarded a contract to Wallc Private Limited for the construction of a staffroom building at a school in Goidhoo, Baa Atoll.
The signing of the agreement took place with the participation of the Senior Policy Director at the Ministry of Education, Naushad Ibrahim, and the Managing Director at Wallc, Afaaf Saeed.
This construction project has been included in the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) for the year 2022. Wallc Private Limited has been granted the contract, which amounts to USD 214,007, and they are expected to complete the construction within a period of 160 days.
As part of the government's commitment to improving education infrastructure, the project is expected to contribute to the overall development and progress of education in the region.
