HDC opens new community park in Hulhumale’

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened a new community park in Hulhumale' Phase I.

The park called Holhuashi Maizan was opened by Parliamentarian Ali Niyaz. Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Athif and other senior officials were also present during the opening of the park.

HDC stated it established the park under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to provide a pleasant environment for the residents of Hulhumale'. The park is located near the 704 apartment block and behind the Hulhumale' Hospital. HDC stated that the park is designed to reflect the history of the Maldives. There is a play area and mini futsal field for children. The park is also decorated with various paintings depicting the history of the country.
