Bank of Maldives (BML) has changed the rules for using QR codes.
BML stated that QR codes or scanned transactions are a common problem these days. This has raised public concern and complaints. To address this issue, the bank changed the rules for the use of QR codes. As such, the maximum transaction amount can now be USD48.6 using the QR code. BML also stated that each customer can use the QR code a maximum of 10 times a day.
