BCC opens opportunity to register for SME Hub kiosks

The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has opened the opportunity to register for kiosks leased for food businesses in the SME Hub.

BCC said many people are expressing interest in renting the kiosks on the first floor of the SME Hub. Therefore, the corporation has decided to compile a list of those who want to rent the vacant kiosks in the future. BCC also said that the opportunity to rent the vacant kiosks will be given by lottery among the registered individuals and interested candidates can register for kiosks by filling out a special form online.

BCC also said that those who apply for the kiosks will be registered if they meet the requirements. When a kiosk becomes vacant, if waitlisted applicants do not wish to rent the kiosk, the opportunity will be opened to registered applicants and a draw will be held among more than one applicant if they express interest.

The SME Hub is located on the third floor of the Allied Building in Male' City. The three-floor commercial hub is developed as a mall and offers kiosks to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to promote their services and sell their products. In addition to food products, a staging area for performing arts and entertainment and a bookstore have also been developed in the hub.
