Pick Maldives to implement Parley AIR pledge

Pick Maldives has signed with Parley Maldives to implement the Parley AIR pledge to remove plastics from the waste stream, and to eliminate the seeping of plastics into the ocean as well as into the general environment.

The agreement of the venture was signed by Founder of Pick Maldives Riayath Abdul Majeed and Founding Member of Parley Maldives Hamdhoon Hameed. The AIR strategy initiative in the Maldives is based on the three principles; Avoid, Intercept and Redesign focused to avoid plastic and keep discarded plastic from polluting the marine environment of Maldives, and recycling it for new uses and safe disposal.

Pick Maldives is a brand that has been promoting the tourism industry of the Maldives abroad since utilising its photobook. The book which will be published this year commemorating the golden jubilee of the tourism industry of the Maldives will include information on Parley Maldives and its AIR pledge.

The third photobook of Pick Maldives will be officially launched at the Luxury Travel Fair in London on November 3.
