Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has launched a new canned tuna product called Drained Tuna Chunks.
The new product was launched during the ongoing Food and Beverages Show in Hulhumale’. MIFCO stated the new product is unique compared to its other canned tuna products due to the lower amount of oil used in the product. MIFCO said oil will not need to be drained from the new tuna cans, which would ease many of the inconveniences faced by consumers when using canned tuna. MIFCO added the product will also be cheaper compared to its Chunks in Oil tuna cans.
The new product is open for tasting at the Food and Beverages Show. MIFCO revealed the new product will be available in the market this month.
