Redefining MICE campaign officially launched in Middle East

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has officially launched the Redefining MICE campaign in the Middle East.

MMPRC launched Redefining MICE global campaign to promote the country as a preferred meeting, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) destination. The campaign was launched during a special luncheon held on the sidelines of the MICE India and Luxury Travel Congress, (MILT) Congress held in Grand Hyatt Mumbai in October 2021.

The Redefining MICE campaign was officially launched in the Middle East at a press conference held jointly by MMPRC and the Maldivian Embassy in the UAE on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022. The press conference was hosted by the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MMPRC Thoyyib Mohamed, and Chief Marketing Officer of MMPRC Fathimath Afra, together with the Ambassador of the Maldives to the UAE Aminath Shabeena.

Speaking to the press, Thoyyib revealed the importance of the Middle Eastern market to Maldivian tourism in the wake of COVID-19 recovery efforts. He further detailed the official launching of the Redefining MICE campaign for the region, aimed specifically at developing MICE tourism arrivals to the Maldives. He also spoke on the many exciting plans to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of tourism in the Maldives, and detailed activities that visitors to the Maldives can look forward to this ongoing year.
