Maldivian tastes have reached the international culinary franchise show MasterChef for the first time, featuring in an episode of MasterChef Sweden.
The destination episode of MasterChef Sweden was shot in Meeru Island Resort of the Maldives. The resort facilitated the shooting of the episode in association with Chefs Guild Maldives. The episode was exclusive for Maldivian tastes, featuring a wide range of items from Maldivian cuisines.
Speaking to PSM News, Mohamed Adam from Chefs Guild Maldives said the episode provides a special exposure to culinary arts of the Maldives. He noted six chefs from Chefs Guild Maldives provided technical assistance for the MasterChef episode.
