Defence Minister departs to the UAE on an official visit

Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi has departed to the UAE on an official visit.

The defence minister is visiting the UAE to take part in the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation Training Exhibition (SIMTEX) Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi from February 21-23. She is attending the conference upon the invitation of the Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the UAE Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bowardi.

UMEX | SIMTEX is a conference organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company, Tawazun Economic Council and the Ministry of Defence Affairs of the UAE. The event showcases the latest cutting-edge robotics and unmanned technology.
