President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has embarked on a two-day visit to five islands in Noonu Atoll. He is scheduled to make stops in Maafaru, Landhoo, Manadhoo, Magoodhoo, and Holhudhoo islands.
During the visit, President Solih would meet with members of the Noonu Atoll Council, local councils, women’s development committees, and residents of the respective islands. The president would also visit several public offices and meet with the management and staff. He would also inaugurate the new mosque and the harbour developed on Landhoo, the new powerhouse on Magoodhoo, and the newly developed football ground on Holhudhoo.
The president is accompanied on the visit by some members of his cabinet and senior officials of the government.
