Flydubai has increased frequency of its flight operations to the Maldives due to increased demand.
Flydubai announced it is increasing its flight operations to the Maldives from 12 flights per week to 21 flights per week. The airline announced it will be operating three flights per day to the Maldives under the new schedule.
The general sales agent for Flydubai in the Maldives, Inner Maldives Private Limited, revealed the airline decided to increase its flight operations due to an increased demand among its passengers. Inner Maldives stated passengers travelling to the Maldives on Flydubai are mostly tourists from Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
The UAE-based low-cost airline Flydubai resumed operations to the Maldives on October 27, 2020, after a suspension of operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The airline is one of the 32 airlines currently operating international flights to the Maldives.
