Maldives takes part in SATTE Trade Fair

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has participated in South Asia's Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) trade fair.

The fair held in New Delhi, India from March 24 to 26 is led by Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdulla Mausoom and Managing Director of MMPRC Thoyyib Mohamed. MMPRC stated 13 tourism companies and 22 tourism related parties have taken part in exhibiting their services in the fair.

SATTE is an internationally acclaimed travel and tourism exhibition held across India. It is a leading event in South Asia, from every aspect, including convenience and professionalism.

India is a main market for the tourism sector of the Maldives. As such, the most number of tourist arrivals despite the COVID-19 pandemic is recorded from India.

MMPRC stated numerous efforts are ongoing to advertise the Maldives as a tourist destination, adding Maldives will attend 44 fairs and roadshows this year.
