Crossroads Maldives becomes the first partner of Border Miles programme

Crossroads Maldives has become the first partner of the recently launched Maldives Border Miles programme.

Maldives Border Miles is a tourism promotion programme initiated by Maldives Immigration, and developed with Ministry of Tourism, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). It is a three-tiered loyalty program, where tourists who enroll in this programme will earn points based on the number of visits and duration of stay. The programme was officially launched upon the arrival of the first tourist of 2021.

Maldives Immigration announced Crossroads Maldives has become the first partner of the programme. As such, members of Border Miles will receive special benefits from facilities operated by Crossroads. This includes discounted price of services from cafes, restaurants, spas and dive centers operated by Crossroads Maldives.

There are three categories in the Border Miles programme; Aida (bronze tier), Anantara (silver tier) and Abaarana (gold tier). Each tier will be defined by a set variety of rewards, services or benefits, which increase in value as members progress.

Maldives Border Miles was launched to boost the promotional efforts of the Maldivian tourism industry by providing special offers and incentives for tourists to visit the Maldives.
