Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed the company completed a record number of infrastructure projects in 2020.
CEO of MTCC Adam Azim revealed the company completed 34 projects last year, marking the first time the company had completed this many projects within one calendar year. He thanked all staff of MTCC for their tireless efforts and support to achieve this success.
Some of the projects completed by MTCC in 2020 include the development of Hoarafushi Airport, Maavarulu Airport, Fuvahmulah Ring Road and Komandoo Harbour. According to the statistics published by MTCC, the highest number of projects were completed during April and December, with 6 projects completed during both months.
MTCC’s financial report revealed the company generated USD 61.8 million as income during the first three quarters of 2020, and a profit of USD 9 million.
