Thulhaadhoo, Baa Atoll
A 59-year-old man who passed away while under home quarantine in Thulhaadhoo, Baa Atoll has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
Thulhaadhoo Health Centre revealed the man had passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at the centre. His sample was later tested for COVID-19 at Baa Atoll Hospital, and returned a positive result.
PSM News understands the man had been under home quarantine in Thulhaadhoo for 10 days before his death.
