Stock of fruits and vegetables brought from Dubai

The national carrier, Maldivian, air freights fruits and vegetables from Dubai, UAE.

Maldivian brought 6 tonnes of goods from Dubai via its cargo freighters while the goods mainly consisted of fruits and vegetables. The first destination of the cargo freighter was Colombo, Sri Lanka. The cargo shipment from Colombo also included fruits, vegetables and some medical items, according to Maldivian.

In a tweet, Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL), which operates Maldivian, revealed cargo freighters will be arranged from Colombo, Trivandrum, Chennai, Bangkok and Dubai. IASL stated the sectors to air freight goods will be increased following demand.
