Family Legal Clinic partners with MPS to prevent domestic violence

Family and Legal Clinic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maldives Police Service (MPS) in their efforts to prevent domestic violence.

The MoU was signed by Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed and Co-chairperson of Family and Legal Clinic Hawwa Shafeea Riza. Under the partnership, victims of family matters and domestic violence will be provided assistance in addition to running awareness programmes.

MPS and Family and Legal Clinic would also collaborate to provide support and assistance to domestic violence victims affected physically and psychologically.
