Discussions held on establishing joint cooperation between MPS and National Police Academy of India

Discussions have been held on establishing joint cooperation between Maldives Police Service (MPS) and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy of India.

The discussions were held as part of Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla’s ongoing official visit to India. The home minister was accompanied at the meeting by Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed and Minister of State for Home Affairs Ali Nazeer. Director of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy led the delegation of the academy at the meeting.

The home minister is visiting India upon invitation from his Indian counterpart. The trip is aimed at conducting high-level discussions on enhancing internal security of Maldives.
