Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM) has published the voter's list for the upcoming local council elections (LCE) and women's development committee elections (WDCE).
According to the list published on the government gazette, 269,623 voters are eligible to vote in the upcoming two elections. As 264,442 voters were eligible to vote in the parliamentary elections held last April, 5,181 voters are eligible to vote for the first time in LCE and WDCE.
ECM has given until January 31 to submit complaints regarding the voter's list. Both elections are scheduled to be held on April 4.
