President's Office has opened applications for the vacant membership position of Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM). Applications will be accepted until January 27.
Applications for the position are opened as the term of current Vice President of ECM Ahmed Akram comes to an end on March 23. The terms of a number of members of the electoral body expires this year, including the term of President of ECM Ahmed Shareef.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will submit the nominations received to the parliament for approval.
