Administration has proved it is receptive to the public: Vice President

Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated the administration is very receptive to the public, as it has proved so in the first year in office.

Speaking on a programme aired on PSM News, Vice President Naseem said from all his trips to islands thus far, he observed the public wanted peace, content and trust. The vice president said the public also wishes for an administration that listens to them. He said the administration has proved that it listens to the public, before highlighting public opinion is essential for progress.

Vice President Naseem further discussed how the administration always considers the larger population before making decisions based on personal benefit.

Discussing his personal life and how he joined politics, Vice President Naseem also recalled his memories of working in the tourism sector. He said the problems that exists today would not have happened had there been proper planning and better decision making.

The vice president also highlighted on the progress of the education and health sector in Maldives. He said the country is seeing developmental and progressive changes as the administration is working to deliver the promises it made to the people of Maldives.
