NCTC advises to be conscious about extremists

National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) has advised being conscious about the extremists living in Maldives.

NCTC also asked the public to share information about such personalities.
In the announcement, NCTC urged the support of public in the efforts of the government to combat extremism and terrorism in Maldives. Noting such individuals work tirelessly day and night to promote their extremist ideology via social media platforms, NCTC asked to be extra conscious.

Furthermore, NCTC expressed extremist ideology is a threat to humanity and the ideology will affect the mental development of future generation adding it is a huge challenge to achieve development goals.
