MNDF dispatches fire fighting vehicles and vessels to be utilised in 14 fire stations

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has dispatched fire fighting vehicles and vessels to be utilised in 14 fire stations across the country.

The vehicles and vessels dispatched by MNDF include 13 standard fire engines, 9 foam fire engines, 2 turntable ladder fire engines and 5 fire speed launches. The vehicles and vessels were donated for MNDF by the Government of Japan on December 5, 2018.

The new fire fighting vehicles and vessels will be utilised in fire stations in Male’ City, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi, Naifaru, Maamigili, Nilandhoo, Kudahuvadhoo, Kadhdhoo and Thinadhoo.
