Limkokwing University grants 10 scholarships for Maldivians

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has granted 10 scholarships for Maldivians.

The decision was announced during a visit by Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed to the Malaysian facility. The tourism minister, a graduate from the university, met with officials at the campus as part of his official visit to Malaysia to attend Fifth World Tourism Conference (WTC). He was accompanied by Ambassador of Maldives to Malaysia Visam Ali.

During the meeting held with officials from the university, Minister Ali Waheed expressed gratitude for the opportunities given to Maldivians, especially noting the efforts to develop human resources for the tourism and hospitality industry.

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology is a private international university that has a presence across Africa, Europe, and Asia. With its main campus in Malaysia, the university has over 30-thousand students from more than 150 countries. It is considered to be one of the top arts and design schools in Asia.
