Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MACI) has advised to take all necessary measures against severe weather to prevent any unfavourable incidents at construction sites.
In a circular, MACI asked to secure all pipes, iron rods and other construction materials which may fall or move from the sites. MACI highlighted some such materials fall due to strong winds and cause damage to the material and people.
On the context, MACI advised to securely safe keep all materials to avoid injuries to people as some construction sites are located near household areas. Furthermore, MACI urged the people living near such areas to be careful.
