Fenaka Corporation Limited has said actions are being taken against individuals who are involved in acts of corruption, bribery, treachery and vandalism.
In a statement, the state-owned utility company noted since its introduction in 2012, Fenaka has failed to bring a permanent solution to the electricity issues faced across Maldives. Citing the company failed in its mandate in the past 6 years, Fenaka said the group of people who previously managed the company prioritised to be involved in irregular activities. Fenaka said all such cases have been to all relevant authorities for prosecution.
The company said efforts will be exerted to provide satisfactory services to the citizens in the future.
