Indian Health Expo 2019 commences in Maldives

Indian Health Expo 2019 has commenced in Maldives. The health expo was inaugurated by Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen.

Indian Health Expo is an exclusive platform for Indian hospitals and Indian healthcare individuals to showcase their services in Maldives. The expo is held at Dharubaaruge convention centre from June 13-15. The organiser of the expo, Medhop India and Friendship Association of India Maldives engaged Asaree Services Private Limited to manage the event. The Indian Medical Expo is a platform to promote medical tourism in Maldives and also will provide an opportunity to businesses to invest in Maldivian health sector, according to Asaree Services.

The expo showcases healthcare specialists from India to share information and experiences. The expo is also aimed at expanding medical services provided in Maldives, in an attempt to steer services towards medical travel tourism. The expo facilitates specialists from various fields of medicine to provide services here for short stints. The expo includes important seminars targeting 4 areas in the health sector.
