Health Protection Agency (HPA) has advised to take precautionary measures when travelling and when going to crowded areas during the Eid holidays and festivities.
In a statement, HPA advised to take health related preventive measures as the rainy weather may cause water-borne diseases. Furthermore, HPA called to take preventive measures against communicable diseases and diseases which may spread easily.
HPA highlighted dengue, chikungunya, diarrhea, cold and fever among easily spread diseases. Moreover, the agency asked to chlorinate water before consuming well water.
