President appoints parliamentarian Hisaan Hussain to JSC

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Parliamentarian Hisaan Hussain to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

President Solih presented the letter of appointment to Hisaan Hussain, at a ceremony held at the President's Office. The appointment was made under Article 158(e) of the Constitution of Maldives and Article 3(5) of the Judicial Service Commission Act.

Prior to the presentation of the letter of appointment, Hisaan Hussain took the oath of membership of JSC. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
