The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal on the Anniversary of the Republic Day of Nepal.
In his message, the foreign minister said Maldives and Nepal enjoy close bilateral ties based on mutual understanding and goodwill.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and good wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Nepal on the auspicious occasion of the 11th Republic Day of Nepal,’’ Minister Shahid said.
On conclusion, the minister said he looks forward to working with Nepal in further strengthening the existing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
